Customer Reviews

As I was preparing to bring our Catamaran from Queensland to Western Australia around the top I wanted a tender that was fit for purpose. My wife wasn't coming if she didn't have something that she considered Croc safe.
There was a few other criteria that had to be considered
Stability Lots of floor space without clutter.Light enough to be dragged/wheeled up the beach by us.Fast and Comfortable in chop for those extended excursions. To be able to be rowed, both for fitness and in case of those inevitable outboard issues.Have secure storage to keep belongings/ stores dry in adverse conditions. Low maintenance.
Luckily I found Mission Tenders online and was able to order myself a 330. It has exceeded all expectations of what a tender can be. It is incredibly stable and makes getting on and off the mother craft a lot easier than the old RIB. It is easy to stand up in as you are motoring along to be able to see into the water. It rows along well and my wife can row it better than me. On that note my wife is very happy with it and she feels safe and secure in it. This is important as we now go on more adventures together. Through the process of ordering and the build I found Dylan very easy to deal with. He kept me up to date and was very experienced with his knowledge when I kept asking questions, making suggestions. All in all I am so glad I didn't get another RIB and so very happy with the 330. I really couldn't fault it. I totally recommend it to anyone who is considering a new runabout for their mothership.

When we were looking for our next sailing catamaran, we knew we wanted a hard sided tender after having dealt with patching our existing inflatable tender. When we found our new sailing cat, she already had a Mission Tender on her. The Mission Tender was an added bonus to the boat, and what a bonus it has been! There are a couple things that immediately stand out about the Mission Tender. The very first thing that we noticed, and people around the anchorages have noticed, is the remarkable stability of the platform. My girlfriend and I regularly scamper around the gunnel of the tender without any issue. This makes getting onto and off of other people's boats remarkable easy. We have actually been nominated as the shuttle tender a couple times. Elderly people specifically comment on the safe feeling they have getting on and off the tender. Instead of trying to crawl onto a tinny or tread carefully onto the tubes of an inflatable, they step firmly and confidently on the wide gunnels and then down to the flat floor. The next thing we quickly discovered about the Mission Tender was how easy it was to get in and out of the water in the tender. You can easily reach over the top of the gunnel, kick a few times, and pop, you are in the boat. My girlfriend particularly likes the wide gunnels for what we call "lizarding". Once you get a little chilled in the water, pull yourself up, lay down on the gunnel, and warm up in the sun again. When it's time to head back to the mother ship, having the space under the seats for storage means we can store all of our dive tanks, fins, and assorted dive gear out of the way. Even though the tender is only 3.1 meters, she feels just as wide as a 3.4 meter inflatable, if not wider. People are always surprised to hear and see how light the tender is. This means my partner and I can easily drag the tender up the beach by ourselves. The drop down beach wheels work a treat on the harder sand beaches. Lifting the boat into the davits on the back of the boat is remarkably simple due to the light weight. We've only got a 9.8 hp 2-stroke motor on the tender, and it will get up on a plane with about 200 kg of people and items in the tender. We are looking to upgrade to a 15 hp to be able to plane with 3 adults. There is no way I would go back to an inflatable tender after my experience with my Mission Tender. The only reason I'd get rid of my Mission Tender is if I was ordering a carbon fiber edition. The tender just simply keeps amazing me!
